Now is the time to register for the World Assembly Open Day which will take place in Amiens from 9 AM to 6:30 PM on Sunday August 6th, 2023.

Full details are available here.

Dear companions, on this particular day you can come with your family and/or invite friends wishing to discover CLC!

This shall be a unique opportunity to meet and share with delegates and companions from more than 70 countries, different and yet so similar. Neighboring countries, or countries from other continents, from the “ends of the earth”. On this day you will be able to join in the discernment of the World Assembly to enable our Community to discern paths for hope, asking the Lord to help us, move forward and to open the way for us and hearing him say to us: “You shall be my witnesses… to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

The reception will begin at 8 AM, before starting with a moment of prayer to entrust the day into the hands of the Lord. You will then take a walk in Amiens in small groups, certainly with people from several countries.

You will meet witnesses on subjects related to the priorities of the Assembly:

  • Globalization and poverty,
  • Ecological crises,
  • Challenges of family life,
  • Expectations of youths,
  • Relations with the local Church.

Lunch will be provided in the form of a picnic free of charge unless otherwise indicated by the participant in his/her registration form.

Please register by 1st May!
