The National Assembly is an annual weekend gathering for the Christian Life Community in England and Wales.

This year it will be held in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside with easy travel links, at The Hayes Conference Centre in Swanwick, Derbyshire.

It is an opportunity:

- to meet CLC members and enjoy a wider sense of community

- to learn more about Ignatian spirituality and the CLC way of life

- to gain a broader perspective of CLC nationally and worldwide

- for listening, private prayer, reflection and small group sharing

The Assembly is open to all CLC members and anyone interested in Ignatian spirituality or CLC. Arrivals are from 4pm on Friday 17th June. The evening meal is at 6.45pm and followed by the introductory session at 8pm. The Assembly will finish after lunch on Sunday 19th June 2016. During the weekend we will be led gently through the stages of recognising and dispelling our fears, so that we can become beacons of light and hope for others.

Booking forms are available as PDF (here) or Word (here).

The theme of this year’s National Assembly looks in more depth at one of the four priorities identified as the “frontiers” at the CLC World Assembly 2013 (Lebanon). Ecology and the environment was identified as a global priority with links to another of the frontiers of ‘globalisation & poverty’.
