We are very sorry, but the NW picnic due to take place on Saturday has been cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control.
(We are retaining the information below simply for the record and so that we can use it again next year, perhaps!)
This year’s North West Region picnic on Saturday 23rd August 2025 will be held in Liverpool, where, if it’s a fine day, we can also sit out and enjoy the gardens.
It starts at 11:30 am – please bring contributions for a shared table (unless you have a special diet and wish to bring your own lunch). If you’re able, please bring a garden chair.
We’re asking for donations to cover the cost of the event, use of the Cenacle Convent Venue and any expenses incurred by our visiting priest. (suggested contribution £5 or £10, if possible.)
An R.S.V.P. to the North West Region Rep (from whom further details are available) is really important and would be greatly appreciated by the Sisters, as they need to know the numbers planning to come.
We will start our celebrations with Mass at noon celebrated by Fr Paul Smith, followed by lunch, time to chat and an optional short input is available on the key messages from the recent online National Assembly.
We look forward to seeing some of you on the day and am praying for sunshine. 🌿🌞🙏
