Another special moment I won’t forget ~ this time shared with the beautiful CVX Portugal community as they celebrated 50 years of CLC in their country.
Three of us from CLC England and Wales flew out to Lisbon to join the celebrations, and ended up walking 50km together on pilgrimage from Nazaré to Fátima. It was such a joyful experience ~ full of warmth, connection, and a real sense of being part of something bigger.
Along the way, we met fellow CLC members from France, Latvia, Slovakia, Germany and Spain. People from all over Europe, walking side by side ~ sharing stories, laughs, prayers (and a few aches and blisters too!).
What really stood out was the spirit of community. We might have spoken different languages, but the feeling of welcome, friendship and shared faith was universal. CLC really is a world community ~ walking together in hope, trust, and love.
A huge thank you to CVX Portugal for including us in this beautiful celebration. So many new friendships made and memories that will stay with me for a long time.
