On Saturday 22nd March, World CLC Day, following the 10am Mass at Corpus Christi, Boscombe (which was said for all members of CLC), a group of 13 representing 5 local South-West Region groups gathered opposite the main door of the church to plant a tree to commemorate ten years since Laudato Si. Among those present were Michelle Ellison, our National President, and guest of honour, Fr Denis Blackledge SJ, who as then Parish Priest, had arranged for a week of guided prayer for the last week in March 2011.

Following that week, a small group of participants ran a “Nurturing The Seed” course, which resulted in the creation of the 4 original groups in the Bournemouth area. 3 of those groups still meet and have been supplemented by a further two groups, which too followed weeks of prayer and “Nurturing The Seed” courses.
